Hello all. I have a 1998 Ford ranger 2 wheel drive. Would it be possible to convert it to 4 wheel drive? Keep in mind that I plan on replacing the transmission either way because it’s pretty well shot. Thanks.

Anything is possible but man the work that would be needed for drive shafts transfer cases would be totally insane you're better off getting rid of your vehicle and buying a four-wheel drive one and fixing that up if you get one that needs work
Thanks. I might just hot rod it instead then. It might be easier lol.
