I'm lookin at a 2018-2021 Toyota Camry or a Honda Accord of the same years. If I get either car I'd like to know would placing 20"-22" rims on them cause any suspension issues down the road if I don't accelerate or do any hard cornering?

I would not put any big rims on a car like that. Normally you can get 20" rims or similar on a car from stock today. If you plan on buying one of those cars, don't do any modifications like that.
