I’m looking at a 2000 Chevy s10 with 4cyl, auto trans, 138k miles. Good body, interior ,windows, glass, bed, tires. Runs good, brakes ok. Bad heater, a/c, horn & no spare tire. Issue here is, when driving at highway speed (over 40 mph), one of the transmission coolant lines disconnects from the passenger side of the radiator. Was reconnected 4x by 2 different mechanics but problem continues. Asking price is $1400. Is this tranny line issue due to a more serious problem? I was told these trannies tend to fail at about 100-150k miles.  Please advise. Thanks.

I would not buy it they're weak to begin with and if those lines were leaking that would lead to internal damage of the transmission
