My zx2 will start but dies if im not giving it gas. I've been told it could be a million different things. Not sure where to even start

Hopefully the air and fuel filters are not 23 years old. For that matter have you checked fuel pressure? How old are the spark plugs? Any big vacuum leaks? That's just some of the low-hanging fruit to start with.
