Hey Scotty ,
I do have a mentioned vehicle with an issue with speedometer not working .. Well i just removed the sensor as it is found in the gearbox and cleaned it properly and now the light in the dashboard is working fine but the speedometer still not working including the fuel gauge as well .
The fuel gauge only work when i put the key to ON but when starting the car all the gauge goes to zero. Kindly assist on how to resolve the mentioned case

Ah you probably have a bad ignition switch try new ignition switch the electrical part cuz that sounds power to both those things
