2000 pontiac firebird v6 vin location

I have a 2000 Pontiac firebird V6, automatic and I'm trying to locate a second vin number to pass a vin inspection. The windshield vin is intact. The vin sticker is missing from the door jambs. Heard that it might be stamped into the metal behind the passenger side mirror, but after removing it there was no number there. Nothing in the trunk under the carpet liner or spare tire compartment. Nothing visible under the hood or engine bay. Tried looking at the engine block from under the car but nothing is readily visible as far as stamped numbers. Tried to use an OBDII reader to get the vin that way, but apparently the year 2000 was right before the vin module was available to read with OBDII. I even took it to the state police for level 3 vin inspection and still nothing. Any ideas on where another vin number location may be? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Have you tried taking it to a GM service desk?

Find the RPO (Regular Production Options) code sticker, the vin should also be on that. Don't remember the location of the RPO sticker in a 2000 Firebird. You might want to ask in any of the 4th gen F-body forums where to look. You could also reach out to GM and get a reprint of the RPO sticker.

Example of what it a GM - RPO Sticker looks like.
