What's wrong with my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Hi Scotty, I have a Pontiac grand prix with 171k miles that did not accelerate and we shut it of and worked fine what could be wrong with it? Thanks

Well it doesn't run you shut it off and turn it on and it does that's generally a problem with the main ECM computer
