I just bought a 2000 Silverado LT 1500 good price. 1 Owner truck around 149K miles has all maintenance records and no open recalls. It has a Misfire and EVAP code coming up. AC runs good as well as truck. Overall truck is in good shape for the year. it has minor rust. Do you think it is worth fixing up as a project truck? Maybe later it can be a classic? What are your thoughts.

What engine and trans? This truck is worth it. I would keep it and restore it.

Your problems are relatively minor. I would fix the truck simply to have a useful vehicle around, but I wouldn't have any illusions about it becoming "classic".
