I have a 2001 Camry with 138,000 miles standard transmission and there is oil on the coil closest to the drivers side when I take it out of the tube. I have had the valve cover gasket done twice by the same shop as the first time the gasket rolled and was still leaking. It is not leaking on the outside at this time, but it seems the tube seal inside is. I have watched your video on replacing the gasket on your Matrix and you use 3M sealant when putting on the new one. Do you think this problem would be solved by applying sealant on the gasket tube or what advice can you give me? Thanks!
Generally just means you need the new seals for the spark plug tube. I'm assuming a guy worked on your car didn't do a very good job and put new ones on correctly when they did the valve cover gasket
