I have a 2001 Honda Civic and my fuel trims are higher when idling than while driving on the highway.
What could be the problem?

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak.

What are your fuel trims percentages.. Are you talking about your STFT OR LTFT .Do you have any check engine light or pending codes. More info is needed.
