my husband just called me and sent me a picture of the used vehicle he just purchased a month ago and he was almost arriving to work which he travels 2 hours just to get to work and told me that the 2001 Honda accord automatic sedan just started making a loud noise and can't make any left turns. So do you think its safe to drive back cause he has to go through mountains ⛰just to come home on the 8 freeway from San Diego, California to El Centro, California. And how much does it cost to buy? {black}:excitement:
Well it can't be safe to drive if it can't make left turns, on the face of it that suggests a serious front end problem. (Although I drive old cars myself I have to say that a 20-year-old car is not necessarily the best choice for 4-hour round trip daily commute.)
The car needs to be diagnosed by a thorough, honest diagnostic mechanic. Doing anything less, at this point, would be foolish and dangerous.
I don't necessarily understand the other part of the question: "How much does it cost to buy?" Perhaps you meant "how much does it cost to repair?" If it's the latter, the answer is the same: It depends on the diagnosis.
