My partner's Australian delivered 2001 Honda civic 126000 kilometres has a rattling noise. (Made in Japan)
We've narrowed it down to being something to do with the air conditioning. Whenever it's turned on, the rattle starts, it sounds a bit like a chirp.
I'm a bit of a backyard mechanic and do some basic stuff but I'm not sure what to do in this case. What do you think it could be? Is it something I can fix myself or do I need to take it to a proper mechanic? It was serviced in May this year and said the car was in good shape. I believe it's all original under the hood (except battery)

Check the AC compressor, clutch & pulley. Is the chirp/rattle pronounced on cold/morning starts?

Happens regardless of whether it's just started or fully warmed up, happens whenever AC is turned on. As far as the video goes I'll have to wait until I see her again before I can do that
