Scotty, recently bought a 01 trooper. 189k miles for $2400.00 One owner, all service records, new transmission at 140k. I noticed today when I got in and started the car, there was a hissing sound from under the dash. When I pressed the brake pedal to put it in reverse the sound went away. Only hear the sound when in park and idling. What could it be?

Well sounds like a vacuum like do my video . Pray it's not the expensive brake boosterfinding engine vacuum leaks with a cigar
