I was looking at a 2001 Lincoln Continental with 130000km but the A/C isn’t working. I was wondering if it could be a reliable car for short daily driving and potential road trips?

It can be a good car. Have a mechanic check the car and if you need AC, find out how much it cost to repair. Do not believe anything seller tells you.
I love it when sellers say “it’s an easy fix”. My reply is “Then why don’t YOU fix it?”

The drivetrain is nice but I'd have a mechanic check it out.
