Hey guys so I was driving my dad's car it is toyota camry v6 2001. The car has 260000miles on it.

I was stuck in traffic today and the car was idling for 5 mins. The abs light and battery light came u. I changed the alternator 2 years ago and battery 4 years ago what do you think can be the problem and yes he use that car as daily driver....if you say buy a new one he is stubborn as a horse and won't sell or get new one. So can you tell me what can be the problem

Low hanging fruit:  Were the battery connections clean, tight, and secure? Did you load test the battery (battery is 4 years old) and also test the entire charging system?

I checked the connection and tighten them up they looked good

As Scotty says, newer car batteries last about 5 years so I'd say get a voltmeter and test the voltage of the battery, it's likely it could be on its way out and is what's causing you problems.

I might try that
