Hi Scotty,
Last year I bought a 2001 tundra v8. The Tundra was from Ohio. I check online and found that Toyota still had a recall to change the rusted frames so I went to the dealer and they change the frame.
Now I had an issue with the transmission, went to a mechanic and he told me that I had a cross contamination (the coolant and the transmission oil) he fix it, but he told me that the whole motor is pretty rusted underneath. He recommended to get rid of it. I bought the truck for $4000 and have spend $2,000 on it.
Do you think is worth it to try to replace the motor or do I just get rid of it and buy another truck??
If getting a new truck the answer; Would you recommend buying a tacoma or a Ridgeline??
Thanks for your time, knowledge and videos🙂 I really enjoy your YouTube channel 😊👍🏻
