2002 Dodge neon 122,000
i took off the subframe on my neon....but I didn't make any marks to put it back exactly where it goes....do this matter? Not like the big screws flop around in the bolt holes any way.
I would take it to a professional alignment shop to be safe. No bolt is exactly the same size as the hole, there's a tolerance factor that varies, based on the component's intended use. The front suspension is centered on the subframe. Your eye can't determine alignment within fractions of a degree. I got into an argument once with a guy trying to sell me tires, once. He tried to claim he could eyeball whether or not the car was aligned with brand-new tires, without having seen the old ones. You can't.
@justin-shepherd I'm installing it with same bolts that came out of it.....so I should be ok....just have front end alignment is all?
Yep.
