HI SCOTTY: I have been dealing with this Jeep I bought 3yrs. ago. It ran very good and it stalled! I figured it ran out of gas. I added gas but it would run for 5 seconds. My mechanic friend in town told me he had the same problem with another jeep. He told me to have the computer security removed from the computer, I sent it to Texas to have that done! I removed the key immobilizer the other day, not knowing to do it right away I tried to start it all along. Not knowing I should have done that right away. IT has no spark, no fuel,no power to the crank sensor, no gauges! I have checked all fuses several times, check every relay with my ohm meter, they all checked out fine.I am getting power to the computer. I used to have my own mechanic shop for over 20+ yrs.I also had a ambulance repair account. So, I was always doing a lot of electrical repairs on them. But this car has got me going nuts! I know that you get so many questions, but I was hoping you could put me in the right direction! Could I have damaged the computer by not removing the key immobilizer? Also when I got the computer back from Texas the jeep would not even run 5 seconds like it did before I send i out!
