Bought a 2002 Lexus es300 with 150k, a Scotty special! Not pretty but bought from older couple with all service records.
I have two issues.
When putting car in drive, within 2-4 seconds there is a clunk. Other then that no odd noise from the transmission. The last time the transmission fluid was changed was 75k. I am going to get fluid changed. Is there anything else I should do?
When braking softly the car shakes. When braking firm they do not. Is this rotors?

For the clunk, have a pro check the transmission.
For the shaking issue, it is a good idea to change the rotors.
