Did you install an OEM VVT solenoid? Checked the other possible causes for that code?

The vvt solenoid i replaced it with was what was recommended through oreilly

You need to stick with OEM for that kind of critical part. See what a Toyota specialist says:

The vvt solenoid i replaced it with was what was recommended through oreilly i have checked the oil and oil levels it’s full and clean even after clearing the code I disconnected the battery overnight to clear everything and it still pops on after a few miles

I’m beginning to wonder if the ecm is bad it wasn’t throwing this code this bad until I put a new vvt solenoid but it’s running good for about 3 or 4 miles then the code pops up I haven’t tried driving with it on I keep clearing it …. Is a ecm expensive and is it plug and play
