I have a 2002 Camry 2.4 L engine, automatic with 215,000 miles on it. I started to get a check engine light with a code of P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1. Car burns about 1qt of oil
each month.
I think it might be the cat. but not sure. Also engine has rough idle when A/C is turned on. Any idea what might cause that?

Sounds like your oil burning most likely wiped out the cat. Worst case scenario you need an engine and a cat

the P0420 code has gone. Not sue what made it disappear.
