Hello hope you can help me. My 2002 Toyota Tacoma has an engine lights on . I took it to autozone and the codes said misfire in 5&6 , took it home and replace the coil and spark plug as they suggested, yet still have the same problem? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated...I did not change the spark plugs wires, just the 3 coils and 6 sparks plugs should i change the wires too?
Go through the sticky we have under FAQ that MMJ mentioned with a fine tooth comb. We had a member today resolve his misfire after following it (different car, but it was a fuel injector on his case). I can’t reiterate enough to follow that. Ask us if any questions along the way.
Change the wires and pray cuz if it's not that easy the fuel injectors are bad or possibly there's an engine problem in those cylinders
