Just purchased a 2003 Avalon with 113000 miles. I have no maintenance history on the car. It drives good stops good and seams to shift great. What maintenance should I do. It doesn’t look like anything has ever been done to it. Thanks

The 2003 Avalon's have timing belts. With no maintenance history, you might want to consider a new timing kit and water pump. Had the same car until I gave it to my sibling 6 months ago @118k miles. I knew the car's full history and installed the above due to the vehicle's age. That's a nice ride.

If you didn't get a pre-purchase inspection, you should get one as soon as possible, or at least do it yourself.

You can check our FAQ for more maintenance advice, such as servicing the transmission.
