Intermittent engine light and stalling

On my 2003 Chevy Suburban we have recently recently replaced the engine and transmission.

We also replace many of the recommended sensors, cam and crank, fuel pump, coil packs, spark plugs, plug wires, catalytic converter, Mass Air Flow, fuel pressure sensor, gas cap, and maybe a couple more I've forgotten about.

The suburban run fantastic.  Start it up, it runs fine. Drive it around, park and turn off engine.

However, after starting the engine a second time it will run fine for a while then just dies while your driving.

Usually will not start immediately, but after a three to five minute wait cranks right back up.

Also occasionally the engine light will flash intermittently, but my scan guage will not detect any code.

Can you please provide any recommendations?

Check your fuel pump pressure.

What is your current mileage right now and where did you get this engine and transmission replacement? If these were both from a junkyard, then you might end up possibly spending even more money to get it fixed.

Send it back to where you got it from.

The engine and transmission were remanufactured, purchased from
Fraser Engines and Transmission.
