[Solved] 2003 CR-V should I change both front struts or get another car?

Hey Scotty,

I have a 2003 Honda CR-V with 148k miles and an automatic transmission. My left front strut is leaking. I took it to a mechanic and that's what he told me. I confirmed the strut is leaking by checking it myself. Mechanic thinks I should get both front struts replaced, which would cost over $1000. The car is very rough and feels uneven when going over bumps. Other than that, the car drives great, is very reliable and there aren't any major issues. I was wondering whether you think it's worth it to put the money into the car, or should I just drive it until it dies and get a newer Honda/Toyota?

Woah woah woah, $1000 for new front struts on a 2003 CR-V?!

$252 for 2 new KYB struts for your car -

Watch Scotty’s video & replace them yourself or find another mechanic.

All the best!

Thanks for the help! Appreciate it!
