Hi. My son has a 2003 Honda Element AWD with 170k miles. He left town for school and I've been driving his car. I noticed that the car will not crank and start unless I turn the steering. Sometimes it needs to be turned left, sometimes right, but it has to be turned. Otherwise is just buzzes. Doesn't click, just buzzes. 

Last week, it started to take longer for the steering wheel to be in just the right position to start to crank. Sometimes as long as 30 mins. Sometimes after many attempts to start it, if I pull out the key and turn it over, it will start right up. Other times, after many attempts, If I just simply step on the brake it will start right up. Has anyone had this issue before? Please help!
