Hey Scotty,
I'm looking at a 2003 Lincoln Town Car with 155,000 miles. It has already had the air to coil spring suspension conversion done which is why I am interested. It was driven by an old man for all 17 years and has documentation of changing the oil every 3,000 miles. Would this make a good first car? Will it be reliable for years to come? Would I be better of with a Camry or Accord?
Thanks!
I owed a lincoln town car & there great! Especially if that guy has owned it & kept up on it for so many years! Just make sure you check the frame out to make sure its not rusted. Also if you ever do have an issue with the air suspension make sure to check the fuse under the hood 1st, you can just switch the Ac fuse with the air ride fuse & that tip has saved a lot of my friends lincoln's! Hope this helps! If you dont go with the lincoln I'd go with the accord there great too!
Have a mechanic give it a look over. If nothing is wrong, they can go for hundreds of thousands of miles. Like riding on a cloud. I love my land yachts. {black}
