Hi scotty, I have a 2003 lexus ls430 it runs smooth but when I go to put gas in it the rpm starts to fluctuate and the car shakes
The car doesnt produce a check engine light and no codes I do suspect its something related to the purge valve or the charcoal canister but am not sure because the car doesnt throw codes . After I leave the gas station the car clears again and runs smooth again.

It is most likely the purge valve that stuck open. A smoke test will determine if this is the case or not.
I suspect it is, but it is weird that the car doesnt throw any evap codes that's whats confusing me

Do you top off when the fuel pump stops?
No I dont do that
