What's your thoughts on an 2003 Mitsubishi Galant as an everyday driver, cost on repairs and maintenance?

They can be okay when they're new but if they get mileage they don't hold up anywhere near as well as Toyotas and Hondas. But if you're talking about buying one that has lower mileage if you get a pretty cheap they can be an okay knockaround car

theyre decent cars pre-CVT in those. just change engine oil and other fluids (trans/coolant/Power steering/brakes with dealer fluids) and keep it if it works.
if you want to extend its life buy mobil 1 oil or any other full synth oil to use, it will help with wear over time
