I have a 2003 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL with 107k miles. There is an obnoxiously loud hissing sound coming from the engine. It’s extremely loud. Along with that I’ve noticed the car has pretty much no power at all. The hissing sound gets louder as the engine rpms go up.

On that car most likely an exhaust leak. The manifolds are not uncommon to crack or clog. The only other thing I would check is intake leaks the hose from the intake to the valve cover can get brittle and brake and the pcv hose to the intake are prone to getting hard and brittle and coming apart. Hope that helps and hope it’s the simpler cheaper hose leaking
