- The passenger lock relocks after I press the unlock key and now my digital clock changes occasionally.
- when the bat and alternator were replaced these electrical gremlins did not exist.
- so what gives? Fyi can a radiator fan assembly be draining the bat and alternator? I am asctoldvit needed replacing
will a diagnostic scan let me know??the dealer wants 200 full scan

I recommend everyone get a scan tool. All aren't created equal and in general a bluedriver (not counterfeit) is what I recommend as a minimum. I'd also try this, "disconnect ground cable from battery and let it sit disconnected for a few hours. Reconnect sharply and firmly (preventing a lot of sparks that can be interpreted as signals by the ecm). And hopefully it'll reset your ecm to a correct programmed state. Else likely will require an oem scan to reset/reprogram correctly. However, check forum for your specific car as there may be a better scan tool for it that will allow this/more functions... if battery disconnect doesn't resolve.
