2003 Toyota Highlander has 102000 miles on it. good condition. they want 5500. do you think this is a good buy?

Yea, that's a bit too much money. Despite it having low miles it's old so that trumps all. I'd tell them $3000, final offer and hope for the best or move on.

Bit expensive and that year had too many stripped engine bolt problems (+ engine failure complaints) so I would pass. If you are interested, definetly have a mechanic do a mechanical inspection.

Price wise I think it would be more a $3000 car.
