I have a 2003 toyota sienna with transmission issue. I mistakenly drained to trans fluid by mistake, I had the vehicle on car ramps when I did it. I refilled the trans with toyota trans fluid from O'Reilly, the $20 dollar bottle. Ever since doing this the reverse gear will not engage while the car is turned on. Also when the engine is running, if you put it in neutral the car drives forward like it is in drive. If I turn the engine off and put it in accessory position, I can push the car by hand in reverse. Do you think the reverse solenoid is clogged up? Or would I need a new transmission? Thanks for any help and advice you can give me.

First I would say check the cable for the transmission. It could be something's wrong and it's shifting the wrong gear when you have this gear shift moved. Pray it's that simple cuz if not the inside of the Tran is shot
