Due to the issue with my Honda, I purchased a 2004 Ford F150 that had 71000 original miles. Was a local driver owned by a local fellow, with a clean carfax report and service records every 5,000 miles. How long should I drive it before I try to unload it and still get something in return? I will need it for at least 4 months or so, but was not sure what I need to watch out for with a truck this age.

If it really is 71,000 mi it's got tons of life left in it if it was taken care of but if you're curious have a good mechanic do a road test with a high level scanner and analyze live and mode six data so we can tell you exactly what shape it's in now
