Hi Scotty. I have a 2004 GMC Yukon XL, 5.3 liter with 220,000 miles. Burns oil like mad due to neglect, but 2 quarts of Lucas every oil change helps a little. Dipstick doesn't read even when it has the correct amount of oil. Could there be sludge in the dipstick tube, and what can I do if there is/isn't? Thanks!

- I kind of doubt that but you could just remove the dipstick and blow some compressed air down in the tube to see if that clears it out more often it's so clogged up that the oil doesn't drain correctly into the pan that would have to be removed and all cleaned out or it has the wrong size dipstick
