My computer went bad and was told that i can get a computer from the junkyard and use Flash 2 to flash it to my vehicle.  Is this true?  How do i get a Flash 2 program and how do i use it?

Thank you!

This is not something Joe car owner can do. And even to have it done professionally is very expensive.

You need the exact ECM for that exact engine and exact car. ECMs change even within the same model year. The tools to flash one and then  calibrate it to your car cost thousands of dollars.  The Koreans are famous for changing the pin-outs on the ECM which means the instant you connect it it goes up in smoke.

Unfortunately only the dealers have the equipment and know-how. When it comes to the ECM your at their mercy.  It's a 2004 so you could wing it and throw one in but chances are your car is headed for the junk yard. Sorry, just try to save you some grief.
