Hello Scotty, recently an accident left my truck totaled and as most of my finances right now are tied up in purchasing my first house. I got a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor with 179,000 miles for $1000.00 the engine seems to be running good for the most part and overall the vehicle seems to be in good shape however I noticed it’s burning a little oil. I can smell it especially when the heater is on full blast. Any ideas where to start looking for the cause? And what can I do to keep her running for the next 2 years until funds free up to purchase a Toyota? And what are some common issues with these vehicles to watch out for? Thanks again

grab a flashlight and carefully look over the entire engine block for oil leaks. Usually it's a the valve covers.
