dear sir i have a 2004 Pontiac grand am, we changed fuel pump last year. and its been running fine, till recently, now it will crank but wont start but if i put starting fluid in carb it will start and stay running and if i go to store or some thing it will start back up. unless it sits for awhile then aging no start. have changed relays, and i just got new fuel filter havnt been able put it on yet. can you possibly give me places, and other things to check out. last tune up,4 years ago .ex wife not very good with maintained thank you

Pressure test the fuel line and check if it holds up the pressure.
