i recently purchased a 2004 Toyota Highlander ..
and want to change timing belt for preventive maintanence
what if any is an easy way to see and time the rear camshaft gear while engine is in vehicle ??

Well if it runs fine now basically just mark it with white paint before you take it apart make sure it doesn't move you're best really to lock them with Cam locking tools though
my issue is to see the marks and align with in vehicle

so it showed me not how to see the rear timing marks on the rear camshaft ??
