Hey Scotty, I have a 2005 4Runner V-6 with 145K miles. I have owned it 6 years, change the oil every 5K as you suggest. I had my Tranny filter and fluid changed for the first time @133K miles, everything seems fine. My question is, Can I perform a few drain fills 3-4 times to completely change out the fluid? I really want to keep this vehicle for many years, do you think it can make it to 300K?

Can you? Yes. Should you? It's your money and isn't necessary.
