Hey Scotty my friend has a 2005 Buick LaCrosse with an automatic and 55k miles and has a coolant leak that isn't leaking external on the engine and we believe it's the heater core since you only smell coolant inside the car and no where else. The cooling system is horrible corroded and will be flushed. My question is what stop leak would be best since he can't afford to fix it correctly and it's not losing a large amount but just enough that he has to be adding every now and then.

Block the hoses to the heater core.
