Picked up an inexpensive scan tool that has an abs code reader function but all it says is abs not detected so I assume the controller is shot. The problem is finding a replacement. Will a used one from the same year and model work, or is it a matter of driving the car a while until the computer relearns or do I have to take it to the dealer to have it flashed? I just want to replace the controller and leave the pump in place, since I don't want to have to bleed the brakes.
2005, town & country, touring, 3.8L, 188,508 miles, runs well. Cruise control works too.

Hi! If the controller is really not working, if you can find a good condition used one, that would still work. Not sure if it would relearn if it's already not working.
