Relative has a 2005 Dakota 4.7 litre 4x4.. At 50mph the transmission locks up severely. Has 55k miles. Need a shift solenoid replacement? Thanks

What do you mean by "locks up?" You're probably going to need a transmission expert to diagnose what's going on using a fancy scan tool.
