I have a 2005 Durango and we have key fobs for the vehicle, but one day the horn beeped and the fobs stopped working.. I've checked all fuses and relays and they are all good. I have a friend that has a scan tool, not a small hand held, but a professional one. He connected to the vehicle and it sees the fob and it shows the fob is sending signal to unlock and lock the doors, but nothing happens. Any ideas?

Wow, that generally means you're receiving unit and the car has broken down and it's not reacting to the message that the fob is sending. Mechanics charge a fortune to work on those things. So if you can find a local locksmith who works on those systems, they generally do it a lot. Lower price than a mechanic
