Hey can have a 2005 Ford Focus zxw and I cleaned my car today and got the o/d switch wet. Now when I drive the car turns the overdrive on and off while driving and when ever I turn on the lights on and off it affects it too. Could I have fried the switch? I disconnected the overdrive to see what would happen and when I turned on the light it was still turning overdrive on and off. Help, thanks

disassemble and clean the switch. There's probably just moisture or corrosion on it.
