2005 Toyota Highlander is it a good long term daily? I see one for sale with 65k MI and being sold for $5500. Seller states they have all the maintenance records. The only problem I see before even looking at the vehicle physically is that it has faded paint all over and in the very front of the hood there is surface rust spots. Good buy or no?

That car is almost 19 years old. It's probably not going to respond so well from being hardly driven to driven every day. All of the rubber parts need replacing, for one.

Those are fine. It's a unibody, not a body-on-frame vehicle. As long as the underside is good, it's fine. Don't worry about faded paint. It's not going to be a collector's car.

- I'm asking about several cars because I currently don't have a car and there's a few that I see on different occasions so I ask. I look buy sometimes it doesn't give me the answers I'm looking for.
