Parasitic drain

Hi Scotty

Hope all is well!  I need guidance on what my next steps should be:

* I have a 2005 Lexus ES 330
* Unfortunately for the past year and a half, I have been unable to drive it for a variety of reasons:

* The main reason was, I think there is an electrical leak that is draining the battery.
* I want to start it up again, and I know I can jump it and drive it:
* However, the brakes were worn out to begin with, I still do not completely know where the electrical leak is (my gut instinct is that it is from a remote starter that was installed - which I would want to remove regardless).
* I do not feel comfortable driving it to a mechanic b/c of the brakes, etc.
* I also know that when a car sits around this long, there are a variety of issues to address prior to it returning to form.

Happy to tow it somewhere, but I would really like any guidance that you might have.  I am not entirely sure what next steps would be, and I definitely want to get this car running again, however - I also want to prepare myself for what a mechanic might say.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration!  Happy to elaborate if helpful.

Ute
