I have a 2005 Lexus ES330 auto transmission with 182,000 miles on it. Runs and drives like a dream but every week or so when I’m driving the car the radio shuts off, heat goes to full blast and the voltage will spike up to 18V, alternator light comes on along with ABS light, anti-lock brake system light and VSC light. I’m not sure what could be causing these random spikes in voltage because it does not happen when I increase RPMS and multiple mechanics have tested my alternator along with my battery voltage regulator and said there’s nothing wrong with them. Any suggestions on what to look for to fix this issue?

I'm guessing intermittent short or bad ground...
