I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla LE that's has bad gas mileage now and when I use my defrost or fan there's a bad exhaust smell in the cab. Not sure if it's a exhaust leak maybe fuel pressure regulator? Very unsure need some help please. Just have to know what to look for thank you for any help you may give it also has about 256,000 miles but still run good except for as of lately. I do all the maintenance myself on a regular basis

Check for a cracked or leaking exhaust manifold.
