I have a 2005 Toyota matrix base and it use to start up no problem when its cold but when it starts hot it slowly comes to life and even now on cold starts the its a little slow. I've looked at battery and terminals as well as start and wiring and all seems to check out. I'm thinking fuel pump possibly no trouble codes either. I also was on a forum and there seems to be a TSB on I'm wondering if you have anything on it.

So why not check the fuel pressure and be sure? Also, how old is your fuel filter?

There wouldn't be for a fuel pump problem, most older cars don't have a sensor for that. There could also be a problem that has not gotten to the point where a code is triggered. However if you check live data you may find some issues there.
